Our production & despatch re-opening

Due to continued demand for our product and the particular need for them in some critical environments, we have reviewed our processes and decided to restart operations from Monday 20th April 2020.

On 24th March, we made the difficult decision to close the Sontay manufacturing, warehouse and despatch facility.  This decision was born out of care and compassion for our team members and the safety and welfare of them and their families.  We felt it was the best decision to protect them as much as we could.

Since the closure, we have been continuously assessing the situation from both the official guidelines externally and our internal processes to keep our workforce safe and well.  

Due to continued demand for our product and the particular need for them in some critical environments, we have reviewed our processes and decided to restart operations from 20th April 2020.  

The safety and welfare of our dedicated team is paramount to us so we have done everything we can to ensure their working environment is as safe as it can be following the Government guidelines.  The production facility has been specially adapted to permit these safer working processes and the team have undertaken training on infection control to ensure they are fully informed and aware of how to keep themselves and each other as safe as possible.

These strict but essential processes will reduce our production capacity and therefore our lead times will be longer than you would usually expect.

If your order is for a critical environment, we will do our best to prioritise this.  Please speak to our Internal Sales Team to advise them and organise a suitable delivery time.
