Chris brings over 15 years of manufacturing experience from mainly within the aerospace industry. Originally apprenticeship trained as a production manager, Chris then took on the challenge of leadership at a young age and has since held a variety of operational and customer facing leadership positions across both large corporations and SME businesses. This background, combined with a masters degree specialised in lean manufacturing, enables Chris to apply a combination of industrial and academic best practice to help shape Sontay's operations. Chris is passionate about manufacturing, continual improvement and industry best practice.

What is your 'Sontay moment'?

The warm welcome recieved, both during the interview phase and upon starting. It gave me a great feeling of the 'Team Sontay' culture from the get-go.

My Inspirations? 

My parents (Kevin and Paula) my wife (Emily), Uncle Peter and various mentors from previous roles.

What do you do outside of Sontay?

Play mediocre gold (22 handicap- so not great), drink Guiness, take the dog for a long walk, enjoy a good Sunday roast.
